Odion Ighalo

16 Goals in 28 Matches Striker Will Join Arsenal, Man Utd or Chelsea as Club Identified his Replacement

Arsenal and Manchester United have reportedly received a major boost in their race to sign Watford’s Odion Ighalo, because Watford are reportedly targeting Granada striker Isaac Success as they prepare for Ighalo’s depature.

Up until now, Chelsea is the only club that has joined Arsenal and Manchester in the race for Ighalo.

The Hornets believe that Success will be the ideal replacement for Ighalo, and manager Quique Sanchez Flores is determined to tie the Granada striker on a pre-contract agreement before the end of the season.

Watford view Success as Ighalo’s heir to the goal scoring role at Vicarage Road after resigning to lose the 26-year-old at the end of the campaign to Premier League giants.

Ighalo is currently a great forward, having scored 20 goals in the Championship to promote his side has currently netted 15 goals to stabiles the Hornets in the Premier League.

Granada is another club owned by Watford owner Gino Pozzo, and the relationship will greatly ease the transfer process for success to join the Hornets. Besides, Ighalo also moved from Granada to Watford, a good impression that there exists a great relationship between the two clubs.

Success, who has scored four goals in 25 appearances in all competitions this season, is reportedly interested to join the Hornets with an aim of opening door for his countryman to move on to a bigger club in the summer.
According to reports, Watford are ready to release the 26-year-old if they receive a bid of around £12 million for his services this summer.
