£180,000-A-Week Real Madrid Target To Complete Chelsea Move In The Summer

Chelsea have already decided they will not sign misfiring striker Radamel Falcao on a permanent basis when the player’s loan deal expires at the end of the season, as per Sports Mole.

Falcao, 29, was brought in to Stamford Bridge on a loan basis after failing to impress whilst on the same deal at Manchester United last season. The Colombian ace was signed as a replacement for Blues’ legend Didier Drogba who left the club at the end of last season, but he has failed to hit the ground running in the Premier League once again, with his only goal for Chelsea coming in the 2-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace in August.

As part of Falcao’s loan agreement, the reigning Premier League champions have the option to sign him outright at the end of the season, but as per the Mirror, a permanent deal for the Colombian striker is unlikely.

The former Atletico Madrid and Porto goal-poacher found the back of the net four times for Manchester United last season before the Red Devils also opted to send him back to Monaco, his parent club.

Chelsea’s first-choice striker Diego Costa is currently serving a one-match ban and subsequently missed the Blues’ game yesterday. Costa’s absence meant a start for Falcao, who failed to have any meaningful impact throughout the game.
