Sanchez is Back Against Man City

4-2-3-1 Arsenal lineup against Man City: Flamini and Sanchez are back

Despite Leicester City’s current position at the top of the table, Arsenal and Man City are the two most favoured teams to pick up Premier League trophy this season. Both of these Premier League giants will go head to head in the exciting Premier League contest tonight at Emirates Stadium and here is how the Gunners will line up.

Goalkeeper

Peter Cech is basically an automatic choice for the Gunners.

Defence

Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker forms the preferred centre-back pairing for the Gunners, and they will start against City.

Nacho Monreal will return to his role in the left-back position and Hector Bellerin in the right-back position.

Midfielder

The Gunners have been hit hard by injuries in the midfield section. Mikel Arteta is not expected to recover in time for this game; hence, Mathieu Flamini will return to his position in the defensive midfield. Aaron Ramsey has been in form since his return to the midfield; he will start next to Flamini in the box-to-box midfielder role.

Mesut Ozil is an obvious choice for the number 10 role.

Attack
The only change we could see from Arsenal’s recent teams is in the wide positions. In the end, it will finally come down to Alexis Sanchez’s fitness. My guess is Sanchez will start the game on the bench.

Theo Walcott will start on the left of the attack, and Joel Campbell will return to his position on the right. Olivier Giroud will spearhead the Gunners’ attack.

Predicted XI: Cech, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal, Bellerin, Flamini, Ramsey, Ozil, Campbell, Walcott, Giroud.

Subs: Ospina, Gibbs, Gabriel, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chambers, Sanchez
