4-2-3-1: Man Utd vs Tottenham predicted lineup, match preview, team news and score prediction

The games are coming thick and fast for the Manchester United as we approach the business end of the 2015/16 Premier League campaign. The Red Devils will feel confident ahead of their trip to the White Hart Lane on Sunday Evening as they will be looking to make it three wins in a row following their consecutive 1-0 wins against Man City and Everton. United are currently fifth and just one point adrift of the top four.

During the reverse fixture at Old Trafford, it was a 1-0 win for United, in the first match game of 2015-16 Season, with Spurs defender Kyle Walker scoring the own goal for United.

Tottenham Hotspur, meanwhile, will like to get back to winning ways following their 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday. That result left Mauricio Pochettino’s men at second place in the Premier League table and seven points behind leaders Leicester City. Spurs will be looking to bounce back and revitalize the title aspirations.

It will not be an easy task for the Red Devils to pick up all three points at White Hart Lane, but an early goal for Louis van Gaal’s side could make things tricky for the home team. United have impressively not lost at Spurs’ ground during their last 14 visits, with the last defeat (3-1) coming in May 2001 when the Reds had already been crowned champions.

Team News:

Daley Blind was substituted during the last stages of the Everton victory, but it remains to be seen whether the Dutchman will miss this game. Timothy Fosu-Mensah deputized for him at centre-back and former Reds midfielder Quinton Fortune has tipped the youngster to start on Sunday if required, after an impressive cameo.

Ashley Young and Phil Jones both played for the Under-21s on Monday night and are hopefully closer to first-team returns.

Luke Shaw and Wayne Rooney are both in training as they continue their recovery from injury, but Bastian Schweinsteiger and Will Keane are still sidelined.

Louis van Gaal is expected to give an update on his squad when speaking to the media on Friday afternoon.

Manchester United Predicted Lineup:

David de Gea, Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Chris Smalling, Ander Herrera, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Morgan Schneiderlin, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup:

Hugo Lloris, Kyle Walker, Toby Alderweireld, Kevin Wimmer, Danny Rose, Nacer Chadli, Dele Alli, Mousa Dembéle, Eric Dier, Christian Eriksen, Harry Kane

Prediction: 2-2 Draw
