A DM Finally? Arsenal On The VERGE Of Signing POWERFUL And Very DEADLY DM

According to reports, Arsene Wenger is allegedly cooking up a surprise bid for Spain and Barcelona midfielder, Sergio Busquets. The French coach has confessed to be a big admirer of the player, whose current contract runs until 2019.

It is believed that Wenger desires to sign the 27 year-old Barca man so as to provide a measure of competition with Francis Coquelin- who had an extremely wonderful season last term in the wake of injury to Matthieu Debuchy; and also to provide a wider range of midfield options for the Arsenal team, given his experience and versatility.

Despite that Wenger has deployed his experts to monitor the player’s situation at the Camp Nou, the french coach sure knows that attempting to price Busquets away from Barcelona would be an ultra-herculean task. The player has over the years, been a key member of the Barcelona squad, and is currently one of Barca’s best home grown
players.

A move for the player is very unlikely, but not impossible. Wenger, ahead of the 2015/2016 season, surely has his eyes on Sunday’s Community Shield match with current League Champions Chelsea, and would look to make a statement of intent with a win over the Blues.
