Alvaro Morata to Arsenal? Juventus director speaks on summer transfer

Speculation surrounding Spanish striker Alvaro Morata’s continued stay at the Serie A club Juventus continues to grow by the day. This follows the revelation that top clubs, among them Alvaro Morata’s former Spanish club- Real Madrid, and Arsenal.

This is not the first time for the English Premier League side Arsenal to show their interest in the Spanish striker Alvaro Morata. Arsenal had tried to land Morata two years ago but Arsenal’s interests did not materialize since Alvaro Morata instead ended at the Italian side Juventus.

Well, it seems Arsenal have all along been keeping tabs with the Spanish striker who has been very impressive in his displays with Juventus. When Real Madrid off-loaded Morata to Juventus it was due to the Spanish striker’s struggles to hit fine form with the Spanish giants.

However, since joining Juventus, Alvaro Morata has adapted to the Serie A league like a duck to water. It is at Juventus where Alvaro Morata has rediscovered his fine form scoring very crucial goals for Serie A club Juventus.

In last season’s Champions League, Alvaro Morata scored against his former club Real Madrid knocking them out of the champions league by an aggregate score of 3-1 going Juventus’ way.
Alvaro Morata’s fine form has triggered a rebirth of Real Madrid’s interest in the player and reports suggest that the Spanish giants could activate Morata’s buy back clause to have him return to the Bernabeu. Such a move would be a set back to the Italian club Juventus Fc, who according to their director Beppe Marotta, are very keen to have Alvaro Morata extend his stay with Juventus.
