Another mega deal? Man Utd ready to sign Leicester City star for $44 million

Manchester United are again linked with a big-money move. More recently with French rising star N’golo Kante. The French man had a breath-taking season and has struck up performances which have led Leicester City to the title.

Long serving Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson stated: “Kante is by far the best player in the Premier League season.” The Manchester United former Manager is still well involved in transfers and had urged the Red Devils to snatch up the midfielder.

Manchester United lack quality in many positions. However, one of their main problems is considered the defensive midfield role. According to the Star link, the 25-year-old star is rated around $44 million. However, it is believed that the Foxes have a release clause at around £25 million.

He has appeared in 35 league games for the Foxes this season and has displayed defensive ability in midfield very few can compare with. Kante has contribute a goal for his side and provided a further 4 assists as well this campaign. However, it is his link up play and defensive strength that has attracted so much interest.

Kante has had a magnificent season without a doubt. He has performed consistently and expertly throughout the campaign. However, since this has been his only season in the Premier league, can it be guaranteed that the French man will continue to perform? Better yet will he cope with the pressure of playing for a United side. Whether United will splash the cash and sign Kante remains to be seen.
