Antonio Conte Found John Terry Replacement for £23.7 million

Antonio Conte is looking to bring an influx of Italian players to Stamford Bridge. Following the latest reports confirming the summer arrival of Conte, a number of Italian players have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio is one such name. Italian Publication Calcio Mercato News claim that Conte highly rates the player and plans to reunite with him at Stamford Bridge.

Conte has managed the box-to-box midfielder at Juventus and for Italy national team. The Italian manager believes that Marchisio could bring a wealth of experience to Blues midfield next season.

Another Italian player to have been linked with a move to Chelsea is AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli. Conte is interested in bringing the young defender to Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea are willing to do a £23.7 million deal for the 21-year old.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea have been tracking the Italian defender and has identified him as one the potential replacement of John Terry.
Romagnoli signed for AC Milan in the summer in a €25 million move from AS Roma. He has previously spent one season on loan at Sampdoria. He has made 27 appearances for AC Milan this season.
