Arsenal CLEARED To Sign Benzema, Real Madrid Ready To ACCEPT BID

According to reports, Arsenal are set to finally seal a deal for their most-wanted player, Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema. Madrid had initially stated that the player would not be allowed to leave the Bernabeu, but now appear to have softened their stance with reports that they had opened talks with Arsenal over the player’s transfer. Other reports also confirm that the club has even set out to find a replacement for the Frenchman, and have identified Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus to
fill the void.

After an initial £31 million bid was rejected by Madrid, reports state that the Gunners are now looking to table an improved bid of around £40 million, which they hope and are confident Madrid would consider.

Manchester United were also linked with the player, as Louis van Gaal looked to replace the departed duo of Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao. Even though reports showed that talks were already ongoing, it appears Arsene Wenger, who is also desperate to recruit a top striker before the start of the 015/2016 season, would leapfrog United to land his services.

It is now expected that Arsenal wrap up his transfer and make an announcement of his arrival soonest.
