Arteta and Rosicky Replacement Found, Arsenal Ready to Sign Inter Milan Star for £5.6m

Inter Milan star Marcelo Brozovic could be the next name to echo around Emirates Stadium, as his club are reportedly ready to cash in on the polish midfielder.  Arsenal are reportedly keen to hold transfer talks with the Italian giants over the possible signing of the Croatia international.

The Gunners have been long admirers of Brozovic, who has established himself as an important player for Inter this term, having three assists and four goals in 22 appearances.

Currently, the 23-year-old star is on loan at the San Siro from Dinamo Zagreb, but reports have it that the Serie A outfit are willing to sell him once they make the switch permanent at the end of the season to fund their own move for Sampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano and get money to fund other business.

According to reports in Italy, the Gunners will have to pay £5.6 million for the 23-year-old and he could be a fine replacement for the likes of Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosisky, both of whom are free agents in the summer.

Besides, Inter Milan director Pietro Ausilio is reportedly due to fly out to London to discuss the deal with Arsenal officials. Although other clubs such as Juventus are also eyeing the midfielder, Arsenal are the frontrunners to secure his services.
Brozovic is a central midfielder who has the ability to play more similar to a Santi Carzola (more attacking role).
