BID ACCEPTED – Arsenal Set To Complete Second Summer Transfer Business

Latest reports show that the Turkish giants Fenerbahce may be set to finally complete a whopping princely sum of €5million deal for Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina in this summer just as Petr Cech completes his move to Arsenal

The same reports from Turkey claims Ospina, 26 years old, is most clearly expected to hold talks with Fenerbeche this week after Colombia’s exit through penalties in the ongoing Copa America quarter finals against Argentina yesterday. As his future is in doubt with the recent news that Chelsea goalkeeper Pete Cech is set for a medical shortly before completing his move across the London divide.

Though David Ospina, who once manned the sticks for  Nice club in France may have been number one at Arsenal since the start of this year when he replaced Wojciech Szczesny after the 2-0 defeat to Southampton on New Year’s Day game. He has helped Arsenal to win the FA Cup for a successive second season, also to finish third and book the 19th consecutive Champions League campaign. In all his 18 games, he kept eight clean sheets which analysts say is just a conceding ratio of just 0.61 goals per game.

But as Pete Cech looks almost set to take his place in the Arsenal team, once he completes this £11million move thus his demands to leave Stamford Bridge in search of regular first team football with the Gunners just as the Belgian Thibaut Courtois ousted him last season after returning from his three years loan at Atletico Madrid.
However if we take a critical look at the analysis posited by pundits, David Ospina made closely 1.94 saves per goal and 3.18 saves per game in the concluded Premier League last season of 2014/2015.
