Hiddink Officialy New Chelsea Manager

Big changes coming – Hiddink kicked out troubled striker and announced 1st signing

Chelsea are ready to launch a shock bid for Liverpool striker Christian Benteke, according to The Sunday People. According to the report, Blues former manager Jose Mourinho tried to sign the Belgian international in the summer transfer window, but the player instead opted to join Liverpool on £32.5million.

Now, following the change of manager at Stamford Bridge, owner Roman Abramovich still wants to pursue the striker and is ready to launch a massive bid for him in January. Benteke, meanwhile, has failed to impress at Anfield since his move from Aston Villa. He has only scored four goals in 13 league appearances for the Reds this season and was dropped to the bench in last defeat against Watford.

Jurgen Klopp’s arrival at Anfield might lead to a change in approach for the Reds, and Klopp might consider selling the striker in January if a right offer is made. The German recently accepted that the Belgian is finding it difficult to adjust to the Liverpool way of playing football. He said: “There’s a difference between the way we play and Aston Villa play,” he said.

“If as a striker you don’t feel confident in the game because you aren’t getting enough crosses then you have to move more. As a striker, you want to play five, six games in a row. At Villa when he was fit he played – but here everything is different.”

Mirror reports that Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao is set to have showdown talks with newly appointed manager Guus Hiddink. The Colombian striker has failed to produce the kind of form he became famous for, while playing at Atletico Madrid, at Stamford Bridge.
The 29-year old, who is currently on loan from his parent club Monaco, has made only nine starts for the Blues in the Premier League and has scored only one goal. If Falcao doesn’t feature in Hiddink’s plans for the second half of the season, he is expected to ask for a move back to Monaco.
