Blow – Liverpool Star To Miss Chelsea Clash

Liverpool may find that they are in trouble and new manager must already be praying for some miracle to happen at Anfield to help him in his quest to turn things around at the club as they try to get themselves out of their present state.

Jurgen Klopp has had to deal with a shortage of striking options since he got to the club with injuries disturbing almost every striker at the club and instead of it getting better, according to reports, Christian Benteke may have added more worries on Klopp as the Belgian striker has suffered another knee injury and could miss this weekend’s very important game with Chelsea.

The Belgian had only recently returned from one injury and was already working his way back to fitness which was incredible news for Liverpool fans, but he is now set to spend another period out of action due to injury.

The striker has been said to have tweaked some ligaments in his knee and as a result will have miss the Capital One cup clash with Bournemouth on tonight and might still have to miss the weekend’s game with Chelsea.

While it has been said that the injury is not as bad as feared initially, it is still very sad news for new manager Jurgen Klopp, who was apparently keen on utilizing Christian Benteke to his best and giving him his first start under him at Anfield.

Klopp can only hope that Benteke returns quickly and that Sturridge finally learns how to stay off the injury table if he means to achieve at Liverpool.
