Brazilian Superstar Moving to Chelsea in January? Prefers Blues Over Liverpool and Already Talked to Willian, not Teixeira

Chelsea have joined Liverpool in the pursuit to sign Brazilian striker Pato, according to the Independent. The 26-year-old returned to his home country Brazil and signed for Corinthians after his career was disrupted by injuries at AC Milan.

He spent a two-year loan spell at Sao Paulo and rediscovered his scoring form by scoring 19 goals for the club.

He has recently been linked with a return to European football and recently expressed his wish to play in England.

β€œI don’t think the physical part of English football would be a problem. When you get the ball, you need to be ready. The defenders here are very tough, but I like that. I have spoken to Willian, Firmino, Coutinho and David Luiz before,” Pato said.

β€˜One day I knew I would like to come to England because I think the championship is the number one in the world. It is very competitive.’

Liverpool have been heavily linked with the Β£11million man of late, but now it seems like they will have to compete with the Blues for his signature.
