Breaking – Guus Hiddink Responds to Reports Saying Young Star Will Leave Club in January

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has ruled out a loan move for Brazilian youngster Kenedy. The 19-year-old signed from Fluminense in the summer, but has made just five league appearances this summer.

The Times recently linked him with a loan move with Serie A side Fiorentina, but latest reports suggest that Hiddink has vetoed any loan move for the youngster.

Italian source TMW claims that Hiddink believes that he can use the youngster in the second part of the season and doesn’t want him to leave.

Hiddink said: “We have some youngsters, and I have a good impression of the guys now. Some youngsters I now happen to know better and have a good impression of.

“He is one of those youngsters who at the moment will stay until the end of the season. We might need him or give him a chance to gain more experience. They (young players) get a lot of experience on a daily basis in training with experienced players. He will stay here until at least the end of the season.”
