Breaking: Liverpool owner wife hints at £700million sale to Sheikh

Linda Pizzuti, Liverpool owner’s wife is the latest person to hint at a possible sale of the club to a secret UAE billionaire. Her tweet following the emphatic 4-0 against Everton in the latest Merseyside derby spoke millions of words to the football world, especially to Liverpool fans.

The phrase “….. LFC has been an exciting club” in her tweet on Wednesday night confirmed that the rumors that the club is set to be taken over by a member of UAE’s Royal Family could be true. The club is said to preparing for a change of ownership which will cost the billionaire buyer in excess of £700 m.

Liverpool thrashed their bitter rivals Everton 4-0 to increase the speculation that Roberto Martinez could leave the club this summer. Goals from Divock Origi, Mamadou Sakho, Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho were enough to seal an important win for the Reds. Linda Pizzuti praised them for their wonderful performance that has seen them win 14 out of the last 15 games they have played.
