Breaking News – Chelsea On The VERGE Of Signing World Cup Finalist

As Chelsea’s defensive crisis continues, it’s a make or break situation for the Blues as they try to sign a central defender before the transfer window closes. Argentine defender has emerged as the probable candidate to be added to the Chelsea defence after the failure of Chelsea to land John Stones. According to recent reports, it is expected that Chelsea should finalise a deal for Ezequiel Garay as an alternative to John Stones.

The Blues will be extremely disappointed about their failure to sign John Stones, after much efforts put into signing the 21 year old.  With the transfer drawing to a close, the Blues have anticipated how much they have to lose in the transfer window if they continue pursuing a lost cause, hence they have focused their attention into landing a more suitable and convenient option in form of Ezequiel Garay.

The signing of the 28 year old may prove to be relatively easy as both Jose Mourinho and Ezequiel Garay share the same agent in form of Jorges Mendes. Ezequiel  Garay is known for his tough and tenacious style of play and was a key player in the Argentine team at the Copa America tournament, as they made it all the way to final. Chelsea’s defence has not had the best of starts this season, conceding 9 goals in just 4 matches.  Defensive reinforcements is urgently needed at Stamford Bridge going into the season and Chelsea have just limited time to bring in one.
