Falcao Leaving Chelsea in January

Chelsea £100,000-a-week star speaks on his summer departure

Radamel Falcao is past his best, at least judging from his performance in the last two seasons. He failed to prove his worth to Manchester united last season, and now to Chelsea.

However, he now wants to shine for his team. His time at the Stamford Bridge has been full of injuries and he has not had time to prove his worth to the Blues.

The 30-year-old Colombian international has been rumored to be heading to China or the MLS, but he says his focus now is his current team, for which he wants to shine.

He is on contract with Monaco till 2018 and he thinks of a future with Chelsea. According to Goal, Falcao is eagerly waiting for a chance to play for Chelsea, as he plans to rediscover his football career. He has been training with the team for the last two months and he feels that he is in the right shape to make a change for Chelsea, who have struggled for the whole season.

He admits that there are rumors linking him to the MLS, but he says that at the moment, he is just waiting for a chance to play for Chelsea and deliver success to the fans.
His interest is in Europe, and hopefully he can return to his days at Atletico Madrid when given a chance in the starting lineup for Chelsea. Though his friends and former teammates Higuain and Valeri together with great names in football such as Kaka, Andrea Pirlo and Giovani dos Santos are doing well in the MLS, his interest for now is in the Premier league, and Chelsea are the beneficiaries.
