Terry Leaving Chelsea

Chelsea Found John Terry’s Replacement as Player Will Earn £60,000-a-week

Chelsea are eyeing a move for Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann, according to latest reports.

Daily Mirror claims that the Blues are tracking the Palace defender from the start of the season and have identified him as a long term replacement of club veteran John Terry.

The 27-year old agreed on a new five-year deal with Eagles last season, but the Blues are willing to offer double of his current £60,000-a-week wages to lure him to Stamford Bridge.

The former Blackburn Rovers defender signed for the Eagles in 2014 and since then has established himself at the centre of the defence for the Alan Pardew’s side.

He has made 21 league appearances for his club this season and has scored three goals.

It remains to be seen whether the Premier League champions will keep up their interest in Everton defender John Stones if they manage to sign Dann in the January transfer window.
