Chelsea News – Double Swoop Expected High Rated Duo

Turkish giant Besiktas are set for a double swoop for Chelsea duo of Mohammed Salah and Nathan Ake. The Black Eagles as they are popularly called are interest in taking Salah and 19-year-old Dutch midfielder Nathan Ake on loan till the end of the season.

The two clubs involved are also believed to have held talks about a possible deal report also suggest.

Egyptian forward Mohammed Salah has been greatly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this January since failing to establish himself in Jose Mourinho’s starting XI. He has only managed just three league appearances for the club this season and 18 in all competitions since joining the club from Swiss side FC Basel last January.

He has been linked with a loan move to a number of clubs around Europe with Inter Milan and David Moyes’ Real Soceidad all mentioned to be interest in the player.

Besiktas has however, jumped the queue to sign the player after it emerged that Slaven Bilic side has held talks with the club to take the Egyptian on loan for the remainder of the season. They are also pushing to have Dutch young midfielder Nathan Ake on loan too for the next six months.

Ake has been with the Chelsea academy since 2011 but has been promoted to the senior squad in recent season. He has made two FA cup and One champions League appearance for the club this season.

No deal has been agreed yet concerning the loan but it is hoped the issue will be sorted out in a couple of days.

Salah has not seen regular action since joining Chelsea a year ago. He has not looked the player he was at Basel and looks rusty each time he gets on the pitch. Maybe he has not been given enough time but, he has not taking the few opportunities given to him with both hands.

Earlier in the season, Mourinho had singled him and Andre Schurrle out for criticism for their performance in a league cup match against Bolton Wanderers.

Loaning him out rather than keeping him on the bench week in week out would be the best for both parties. He’d be able to get regular playing time in Turkey and return to the club in a better form in the summer.

Nathan Ake will also benefit greatly from a loan deal. Regular action will help a player of his age. He will improve his confidence, and an experience in the Turkish league could be great for his career.

Chelsea have abundant of players in his position and its unlikely he gets a good number of games under his belt this season.

Besiktas are a strong side in the Turkish league and are always title contenders. They already signed Demba Ba from Chelsea in the summer and would wish to have players in the calibre of Salah and Ake in their ranks to help them in their title push.
