Chelsea Set To Finally Complete Griezmann Signing

If you believe reports from Spain today, Chelsea may have finally decided to sign Antoine Griezmann after admitting defeat in the pursuit of Paul Pogba. According to initial reports, Roman Abramovich is keen on signing Paul Pogba for Jose Mourinho but Juventus have reportedly made it clear that they are not interested in selling the player at the moment.

Although many Chelsea fans had bought the Paul Pogba dream but if the reports that Chelsea are close to signing Griezmann is true, I doubt any fans of the the club will complain. Griezmann is one of Chelsea fans’ favorite this summer transfer window.

Although not in the class of Paul Pogba but Griezmann plays in a position Chelsea really need someone in. He is truly world class and has shown that over the last five seasons. His signing will give Chelsea another option in attack as he can play upfront, on both wings and in the 10 role.

At just 24, Griezmann still has his best years ahead of him and with Remy, Falcao and Diego Costa injury prone, signing Griezmann gives Mourinho an option in attack.
