Chelsea To ANNOUNCE Three MAJOR Signings This Week Worth £50m

Chelsea are close to landing Baba Rahman, John Stones and Jose Callejon in a £50million triple swoop from Augsburg, Everton and Napoli respectively, reports Telegraph.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho has lined up an offer of£15.5million to sign Napoli forward Callejon who was one of his players during the Portuguese coach’s  time as manager of Real Madrid.

Chelsea already have enough brilliant playmakers in the team, but boss Jose Mourinho still wants to amplify his options in the attacking midfield department.

The Premier League champions are now closing in on the signing of the Spanish international star are already in negotiations with the Serie A club to secure his services.

Callejon played 59 times for Napoli last season, scoring 12 goals and gathering 7 assists as well. The erstwhile Real Madrid forward is primarily a right winger and would likely be depolyed in that role should he sign for the Stamford Bridge club.

Mourinho is also confident of landing Everton’s young central defender John Stones as reports have claimed the Blues are preparing an increased offer of £26 million to secure the player’s services.

The four-time capped England international has reportedly told boss Roberto Martinez he wants to leave and it is expected the Blues will sign him before their season opener against Garry Monk’s Swansea.

Chelsea are searching for a future John Terry replacement and Mourinho believes Stones is the ideal candidate to replace the ageing legend.

Augsburg’s Baba Rahman has also been tipped to leave the Bundesliga side for Stamford Bridge this summer, with Mourinho keen on the 21-year old left back.

The Portuguese manager wants a replacement for Filipe Luis who recently made a return to Atletico Madrid, and the belief is a deal in already in place for a replacement and that is why the Premier League club gave Atletico the green light to announce the transfer.

However, it seems the Baba deal has somehow stalled with Augsburg reportedly wanting more. Chelsea have now looked to Galatasaray’s left back Alex Telles as an alternative for the Ghanaian defender should a deal fall through.

Transfer ace Gianluca Di Marzio even claimed the Blues are in advanced negotiations to sign the Brazilian left back for a fee believed to be around £8million which will represent a massive coup considering Augsburg value Baba around £14million albeit the Augsburg’s left back seems a better option.

Chelsea will now be hoping to complete all their transfer businesses so as not to derail the team’s preparation for the upcoming campaign.
