Club’s Biggest Star to Accept 4-Year Deal and Will Earn £120,000-a-week

Chelsea have offered a massive new contract to winger Willian in order to keep him at the club. The West London club fears that the failure to qualify for Champions League this season could play in players’ minds during the summer transfer window.

The Blues are already expecting offers for the likes of Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa and even Willian has attracted interests from some of the major European clubs.

The likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Juventus are keen in the Brazilian and could attempt to sign him in the summer.

According to The Times, Chelsea are planning to offer a four-year contract worth £120,000-a-week wages to ward off the interests in their player. The new deal will keep the player at Stamford Bridge until 2020. The new contract offers a significant raise to the Brazilian who is currently on £80,000-a-week wages after signing in a £30 million transfer from Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013.

He currently has two-and-a-half years left on his contract. He has been of the better-performing Chelsea players this season and has scored ten goals and provided four assists in all competitions. He is expected to accept the new deal on the table.
