Done & Dusted – High Rated Striker Agrees Arsenal Deal, Giroud Replacement?

Arsenal stars have go on to represent their various countries for qualifiers and friendly games, leaving Arsene Wenger with ample time to plan some transfer deals. However, this one concerns one of the club’s tyro.

Having tied down Alex Iwobi to a long-term deal, the Gunners have placed another youngster in the form of Jordi Osei-Tutu on the same tread, as the versatile player has put pen to paper on his first professional contract with Arsenal.

Jordy, 17, joined the North London club from Reading in the summer and his versatility ensures he can operate as a full-back, on the wing or in central midfield. He is also an England youth international, with strong tackle and a great ability to read the game.

The teenage footballer has been tipped for a great future in the game, and could have a real gem on their hands.

However, it is unlikely Jordi will feature for the Gunner’s first-team this season, with Arsenal boasting enough players in the full-back positions. At right-back, Mathieu Debuchy and Hector Bellerin are vying for starting spots, while Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal are the custodian of the left-back position.

Arsenal currently lie in second place on the Premier League table – two points behind Manchester City –  after beating Manchester United 3-0 last weekend and with Chelsea in a poor run of form, this could be the time for the Gunners to win the league title.
