DONE & Dusted – Manchester United To ANNOUNCE Signing Of Pedro This Week

Reports from various sources may just have indicated that Pedro to Man United is almost a done deal, barring any last minute hitch. The player, who was once quoted as saying he was at a crossroad in his career following his inability to tie down regular shirt in the current Barca team, is now set to make the switch to the Theatre of Dreams.

According to Marca, Manchester United have sort of agreed a deal for the Spanish international, and a formal announcement is believed to be already on the card. However, the fee appears to be a subject of disagreement amongst the various media outlets reporting the move. The British and the Spanish press appear to be miles apart in terms of the exact fee. Various fees ranging from €25m, €30m or €32m have been quoted, with no official confirmation made as at press time.

While the exact figure appears to be an issue for the press in both countries, the same cannot be said for the player’s next club as that seems to have been sorted, with Barca set to receive a transfer fee close to €30 million mark.

With the Red Devils set to receive a significant portion of what was spent by the club when they signed Angel Di Maria last summer from Real Madrid of Spain, it is only a matter of time and not if the player will be moving to Old Trafford.

It could well be ‘welcome to Old Trafford’ for a player, who has won virtually every trophy both as a club player and a Spanish international.
