Ter Stegen moving to Liverpool

Double Deal Close: Klopp to Bring Two Barcelona Stars in January, Both Players Interested in the Deal

Liverpool manager is on the look-out in the transfer market to strengthen his current squad. With a difference of eight points between themselves and the top four, manager Jürgen Klopp will have to make wise choices in the transfer window.

The first target that has been linked with Liverpool is Barcelona’s goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. The Germany international will cost them around £23 million.

With lack of game-time the 23-year-old will find it hard to resist a move to the Premier League club, Liverpool. Their current goalkeeper Mignolet is already under criticism for the errors he has made on the field and the arrival of a new goal-keeper would create competition and a motivation for improvement.

According to Metro, Barcelona is willing to part ways with the goalkeeper provided they receive an appropriate bid for him.

Another Barcelona player that is in the books of probable transfers of Liverpool is the Spanish forward, Cristian Tello. Seeing Liverpool is struggling to have its current strikers available due to injuries, a new addition in the form of Tello would help them a great deal.

The 24-year-old is currently on a two-year loan deal at Porto and with Neymar, Suarez and Messi in the front line-up for Barcelona, he seems to be out of favour with the Catalans. Therefore, there is a chance for Klopp to attain the player at a reasonable price before the end of his loan spell at Porto.
