ADEBAYOR To Chelsea

Former Real Madrid Superstar Returns to England, Guus Hiddink and Board Agrees to Sign him in January

Chelsea are weighing up a short-term deal for former Arsenal and Real Madrid frontman Emmanuel Adebayor. The 31-year old is a free agent at the moment after his contract with Tottenham was terminated by mutual consent this season.

Manager Guus Hiddink has accepted the need of a striker in the transfer window, but the Blues are finding it hard to secure their transfer targets in January.

The Togo international fits the role of the stop-gap signing till who can provide cover until the end of the season.

The Times report that Hiddink has already talked with the club board about a possible move and a deal for the striker is forthcoming.

Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao have both struggled with form and injuries this season leaving Diego Costa as the only striking option available to Hiddink.
