Guillem Balague claims Real Madrid will sell Man United’s target James Rodriguez

Real Madrid has time and again beaten Manchester United to the signing of some of the world’s best players in the transfer market. This is whenever there is join interest for a player from both clubs. One such player who preferred to join the Bernabeu rather than Old Trafford is former Monaco attacking midfielder James Rodriguez.

Manchester United has tracked the Columbia International a number of times but was outdone by Real Madrid to the signing of James Rodriguez in the year of 2014. James Rodriguez enjoyed a very successful first season with the Spanish giants but the second season at Real Madrid has not been as successful as the first one.

The Columbia International has missed out on first team selection for the large parts of this season and has to endure a place at the bench.

It is this sudden change of fortune for James Rodriguez that has had talk of Manchester United’s chances of securing his services resurfacing. In fact re-known Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has hinted to the possibility of Real Madrid being open to selling James Rodriguez for the right price in the summer should such an offer come their way.

Such rumours coupled with Manchester United’s previous interest in James Rodriguez  and the fact that Manchester United’s executive vice chairman Ed-Woodward  is keen on securing a world star signing, leaves James Rodriguez open to a move to Old Trafford this summer.
It is believed that James Rodriguez’s agent Jorge Mendes, has been in talks with a number of clubs over a potential transfer. Besides, Balague’s confirmation of Real Madrid’s desire to let go of James Rodriguez almost confirms James Rodriguez’s imminent departure.
