   a league table with Sperz above the Arsenal that I’m happy about… strange. It is slightly strange, presumably fans of the TinyTotts pay £62 to visit the Grove, does that mean it only costs me £49 to go there? Thought it was more than that.

   Of course the fact that return train journeys from/to London are more expensive than those from the provinces to/from London would change the cost profile dramatically. The other day I googled returns from London to Manchester on the day of the City-Chelsea game – came back £68. The same search in the opposite direction came out at less than £50.

     ‘Fact’? Surely it costs more to get to the capital than leave it. One google search hardly counts as valid research over the course of a season.
