Jurgen Klopp Already Identified 1st Signing, €25m Superstar Moving to Anfield

Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic is currently playing for Turkish club Fenerbahce on a loan deal.

The 21-year old joined Liverpool in a £17.5 million move from Benfica in 2014, but failed to impress in his first season with the Reds.

Subsequently, he was loaned to the Turkish club, and he has impressed with his recent run of form in Turkey.

Reports claim that Fenerbahce want to sign him on a permanent deal, but their approach has been turned down by the Merseysiders.

Turkish daily newspaper Sabah claims that the Reds have turned down a €25 million offer from Fenerbahce for their player.

The Reds are said to be monitoring the Serbian international’s performances and have scouts present at every Fenerbahce game. The loan agreement between two clubs didn’t include an option to buy the player, and now Liverpool have to make a decision about Markovic’s future.

The former Benfica man has three assists and two goals in 19 appearances for the Turkish club.
