Jurgen Klopp set to kick out first-team star ahead of new signing

Liverpool’s defender Mamadou Sakho is yet to know his fate from the footballing body UEFA, after the defender’s failed drug test.  However going by similar previous scenarios, Mamadou Sakho looks set to receive a ban whose length only UEFA will ascertain. In the year 2014 for example, fellow team-mate Kolo Toure was slapped with a six months ban after the Ivory Coast International was found having violated certain anti-doping regulations.

Given this precedent, Sakho will most likely be waiting for a similar if not a longer ban following the defender’s failure to request his B sample  tested, after his initial test revealed samples of a fat burning substance.

With this cloud of uncertainty hanging over Mamadou Sakho’s head it is to be seen what the defender’s current club Liverpool are up to. Reports contained in The Sun however talk of a possibility of Mamadou Sakho’s future at  Liverpool being at stake should the French International face a 2 years ban as is being speculated.

The imminent arrival of Schalke defender Joel Matip gives the reports contained in the Sun some credibility since Joel Matip could fit perfectly in the shoes of Mamadou Sakho should Liverpool decide to let go of the France international defender.

Liverpool manager has so far been insisting that as far as he is concerned, Liverpool have done all in its hands regarding this whole issue about Mamadou Sakho’s failed drug test. Jurgen Klopp insists that it is a wait and see scenario regarding all this controversy regarding Mamadou Sakho.
As a matter of fact, the Liverpool defender did not feature for Liverpool against Newcastle in the weekend premier league fixture and did not travel with the team for their EUROPA  league  second leg encounter with Villareal.
