Klopp Set to Sign Dortmund Superstar and Beat Wenger, Player has Refused Contract Extension

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is a man in demand at the moment. Premier clubs including the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City are interested in his services.

Serie A club Juventus are also thought to be interested in the German International. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has previously managed the 25-year old at Dortmund and wants to bring him to Anfield. Liverpool are set to compete with Arsenal and Man City for Bundesliga midfielder.

The clubs interested in the player have received a major boost in the form of the latest report which claims that Gundagon has rejected the latest contract offer from the Bundesliga club.

His current deal expires in the summer of 2017 and Bundesliga club have been trying to tie him down to a longer deal for some time now.

But German publication Bild reports that the player will definitely won’t be signing a new deal with Dortmund.

The German club might be forced to sell him now as he will enter the last year of his contract in the summer.
Gundogan signed for Dortmund from FC Nurnberg in 2011 for a transfer fee of around €4 million. He was a part of the team which won the double during the 2011-12 season.
