Liverpool legend believes this deadly Belgian striker will replace Benteke

The speculation surrounding the future of last season’s 32.5 million pounds Liverpool acquisition, Christian Benteke, seems to be nowhere near its end. And with all the news coming in from different quotas pointing to an imminent departure of the Belgium International from Liverpool, there are many players being taunted as potential Christian Benteke’s replacement at Liverpool.

Steve Nicol is in fact very optimistic that Jurgen Klopp will most likely land Michy Batshuayi as a replacement for the outgoing Christian Benteke. Michy Batshuayi, the 22 year old, has to his name 15 Ligue 1 goals for his struggling Marseille side.

Steve Nicol sees a lot of talent in the young Belgium International and tips the youngster to continue his impressive goal scoring form at the premier league should he join Liverpool in the summer.

Liverpool FC’s interest in the young Belgian who is being valued at 30 million pounds will most likely meet competition from rival Premier Clubs Tottenham Hotspurs and West Ham and the Italian giants Juventus.
