Louis Van Gaal Just Blocked a Transfer for Former Barcelona Superstar

Man Utd manager Louis Van Gaal has blocked a loan move for want away goalkeeper Victor Valdes.

According to Daily Mirror, the Red Devils have rejected an approach from Newcastle United to sign the former Barcelona player on a loan deal.

The Spaniard has found himself excluded from all first-team activities this season after falling out with Van Gaal. The Dutchman is willing to let Valdes see out his contract, which runs until the end of the season, rather than let him go out on a loan deal.

Newcastle’s first choice keeper Tim Krul has been ruled for the season with an injury and they wanted the Spaniard to compete with Rob Elliot for the goalkeeping spot till the end of the season.

The Spaniard is said to be eager to move to St James’ Park in search of first-team football.
