La Liga ace Luis Alberto wants Liverpool switch: “Klopp is an extra motivation to return”

La Liga is full of young, electrifying players. One of the most promising stars is Luis Alberto. The 23-year-old Spanish international is playing for Deportivo La Coruña on a loan from Liverpool, and he is eager to go back to Anfield.

The Spaniard is having an amazing season: he’s played 27 matches for Deportivo and scored a total of 6 goals, and dished out 6 assists. He has his view set on joining Liverpool next season and causing an impact, inspired by Jurgen Klopp. Last season Luis Alberto had the chance to meet Klopp when he was receiving treatment for a groin injury.

“It is obvious that having Klopp as a manager is an extra motivation to return to Liverpool,” said the Spaniard to IBTimes UK. He is clearly working very hard and trying to prove to Klopp he will be a valuable addition to The Reds for next season.

Luis Alberto continued by saying: “When I was there I could see that he has changed everything, the atmosphere and the club. You can feel it. Everything I heard about him was good. He is transforming Liverpool.”
The youngster was signed under the management of Brendan Rodgers, and was loaned out to Malaga CF and subsequently to Deportivo. The Spanish international has been on a mission to prove his worth since then and this season he might have done just that. Let’s see if Klopp was looking.
