Major transfer boost: Aubameyang admits “Premier League could be my new destination”

One of the most sought after strikers in Europe has dropped a bombshell by revealing that the Premier League would suit his style of play. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, currently scoring goals for fun at Borussia Dortmund, has put Premier League clubs on red alert after revealing exactly why he wants to play in the Premier League one day.

His record of 23 goals in 28 league games this season has cemented his reputation as one of the continents top marksmen and the top teams have all been watching eagerly to see if they can lure him away from Germany. Both the club and the player have often waved away rumors and gossip about the former Saint Etienne forward player moving on.

His parents are actually from Spain and he has spoken before of wanting to play there one day. The Gabon international would also like to ply his trade in the Premier League because it would suit him. He told Meet A Star foundation:

“I hope so! Why not? It would be very good, very nice. We will see. My dream is to play in Spain, because my mother is from Spain and I have some family there. It is one of my dreams. But for the moment I’m in Germany. I watch the Premier League for sure. I watch some games.

“The teams are very, very good and I like it because every game is open. And there’s so much space – and I love space because then I can run! That’s why it’s a very good and very special league.”
The striker’s comments will have Manchester United and Liverpool on alert as they are both in the market for a new striker this season. Would he score so many goals in the Premier League?
