Man Utd or Chelsea? Antoine Griezmann admits wanting new challenge abroad

Antoine Griezmann’s prolific form has caught the attention of several top Premier League clubs keen on strengthening their squads in the summer. Top English Premier League clubs closely following up on the Atletico Madrid star’s progress are Chelsea and Manchester united.

Griezmann has now found the net a record 54 times during the two seasons stay with Atletico Madrid. This is by no chance a mean achievement for any attacking player. No wonder the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United are closely monitoring Griezmann’s progress and are ready to cough huge amounts to secure Griezmann’s signature in the summer.

While Chelsea are rumored to be in the advanced stages of negotiations with Antoine Griezmann, rival club and fierce competitors in the Premier League, Manchester united, are also in hot pursuit of the promising Atletico Madrid attacker. Griezmann himself is keen on trading his skill in another league having had played in the La Liga for Real Sociedad as youth in the year 2005 and a such a move to the English Premier League is welcome for the France International.

It is yet to be seen which club will land the services of Griezmann in what is promising to be a huge deal and possibly a record British transfer deal.

With Champions League qualification out of sight for Chelsea and very tricky for Manchester United given the current table standings, it is most likely that either of this two clubs will land the signature of the Atletico Madrid attacking player depending on how sweet the deal offered will be.

In the event that Antoine Griezmann ends up in the Premier League with either Chelsea or Manchester united, it is to be seen how well the France International’s physicality will enable him cope with the intensity of the English Premier League.
