Man Utd ready to sign £23.7m star ahead of Chelsea after positive scout reports

Manchester United’s love for young players continues as the club scouts Bologna teenager Amadou Diawara. Manchester United officials keenly observed the player as his team played Torino in Saturday’s 1-0 loss at the Renato Dall’Ara and are reported to have liked his game.

The Red Devils have midfield concerns, with Michael Carrick expected to leave the club and Bastian Schweinsteiger having struggled to impress in midfield since his arrival from Bayern Munich.

Ander Herera and Marouane Fellaini have also been inconsistent, and that is why a move for Amadou Diawara in the summer will be a move in the right direction for Manchester United.

Diawara’s contract expires on 30/06/2020, and the club has set a € 30 million transfer fee for the Guinean professional. Manchester United is prepared to make a bid worth £23.7million for the player.

With other clubs like West Ham, Chelsea, and Manchester City also interested in his services, Manchester United may have to step up its bid for the promising midfielder. Chelsea is particularly very keen on bringing the player to Stamford Bridge.

Amadou Diawara has made 25 appearances for Bologna this season, and he has already booked a place for himself in the starting lineup. He plays in a defensive midfield position, and his hunger for success is expected to help Manchester United challenge for titles next season if the move is completed.

Whether Louis Van Gaal leaves Manchester United or not, several changes are expected to be made in the midfield, and the inclusion of Diawara may be one of them.
