Man Utd target Ibrahimovic demands £77m, Woodward needs to pay

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave PSG on a free transfer at the end of the season and become one of the most wanted players around. A host of top clubs will be after him, but he certainly won’t come cheap.

A French newspaper, Le10Sport, has already revealed that Zlatan has rejected an offer from a team in the Chinese league to take him on. That offer was reportedly worth £54million a year which would double the wage of the current highest paid player, Lionel Messi.

Apparently, Zlatan is holding out for a colossal £77million a year and if he doesn’t get a big enough offer from a European team then the 34-year-old might consider heading to Asia.

With Manchester United in a spot of manager turmoil at the moment and Jose Mourinho waiting in the wings to take over Louis Van Gaal, the situation doesn’t look like getting cleared up any time soon. How would Zlatan feel about working alongside Jose again?

He revealed that he regrets not playing under Mourinho for longer and Zlatan reckons he and Jose Mourinho have something in common as well:
“Jose Mourinho is a big star … he’s cool. The first time he met (my wife) he whispered to her: ‘Helena you have only one mission. Feed Zlatan, let him sleep, keep him happy”‘ The guy says what he wants. I like him.”

If he arrives in Manchester in the same fashion as his Paris arrival then he might end up owning a hotel:

“We are looking for an apartment (in Paris), if we do not find anything, then we will just buy a hotel.”
