Medical Done, Liverpool To Complete Transfer Of £150,000-A-Week Star, Announcement Imminent

Liverpool cast away striker, Mario Balotelli has completed a medical at AC Milan as he looks to make a sensational return to the Italian club he left last summer in a season-long loan deal.

Liverpool and AC Milan had been in transfer negotiations over the Italian but talks moved swiftly on Monday as both clubs agreed terms on a season-long loan according to SkyItalia. The deal according to the aforementioned source is understood not to include a loan fee or an option to buy clause. The deal will see Balotelli return to Milan for the remainder of the 2015/2016 season. A statement from the Milan club went thus:

“Mario Balotelli has completed his medical. He is expected to arrive Casa Milan at 13:30 “.

The Italian striker also had some words to say too;

” I’m happy to have returned. I have little to say, just that I’m looking forward to train and prove my worth. I’m physically well, I just have to train with the squad. I have a lot of motivation but I just have to work and not speak “.

When asked if he ever foresaw a return to Milan he replied, ” Yes, I always had Milan in my heart and I always had hope that I would return one day. Will I end my career here? I just want to start to work and have a good year, I just have to work and that is that “.

Balotelli has struggled to adapt to Brendan Rodgers system at Liverpool having to endure a very unproductive season laden with heavy criticism from fans and the media. The controversial striker scored just one Premier League goal for Liverpool after sealing a £16 million move from Milan in August last year.

Balotelli was left out of Liverpool’s pre season tour of the Far East and Australia. He had also been relegated to training with the reserves.
