Jose Mourinho

Mourinho told friends he wants to bring 30 goals in 31 matches striker to Old Trafford for £70m

It looks to be a foregone conclusion that Jose Mourinho will be in charge of Manchester United come the start of next season and he has apparently been bragging to pals that he will make Napoli striker, Gonzalo Higuain, his first blockbuster signing.

The Napoli striker has been in lethal form this season, scoring 32 goals in Serie A and propelling Napoli to second in the league behind Juventus. He has been on the radar of the top European clubs for some time now and Chelsea in particular have made advances to secure the Argentinian.

Jose Mourinho was talking to friends and informed PSG who were also interested in him that he is Old Trafford-bound at the end of the current Premier League season. According to the Sunday People, Higuain will set Manchester United back around £70million although Napoli have put a £95million valuation on the striker.

He has 2 years left to run on his contract and it is thought that they would accept a bid of around 70 million for the 28 year old striker.

Sources inside Manchester revealed that if Manchester United lost against high-flying West Ham in the FA Cup clash last week, Louis Van Gaal would have been out of a job.

They won the match but it doesn’t look like it will be enough for United to keep the faith and retain his services for another year. At the moment, it looks as though Mourinho will be in charge at Manchester next season although we are expecting more twists in this saga.
