Personal Terms Agreed, Arsenal Striker Target To Sign, £95,000-A-Week Deal Close

As the clock ticks towards the end of the bi-annual transfer market, the suspense and intrigues will no doubt be increased as the football world is greeted with shock deals that will be see players jump ship from one club to another.

The Gunners are not left out, with a shockingly disappointing news this morning, as one of the players long-linked with the club, Ezequiel Lavezzi of Paris Saint German agrees to join Italian giant Inter Milan, as per Daily Star.

The Gunners remained in the transfer market from the beginning of the summer to bolster their attacking line and Lavezzi was reported to be one of Wenger’s target along side his team mate Edison Cavani – this is coming after Benzema outrightly rejected a move to the Emirates.

Following PSG’s acquisition of Angel Di Maria from Manchester United, Lavaezzi became doubtful of his future as he is unsure of regular playing time and scarcely featured for the French champions last season.

His situation in France saw him linked to various English clubs including Arsenal. The 30-year-old Argentina international is in the final year of his contract and available for just £8 million – and it was expected that Arsenal will sign as his experience will be invaluable to the team.

Nonetheless, it now appears that the PSG out-of-favour player is on his way to Italy despite reports by La Gazzetto dello Sport that United wanted to sign the player.

This is worrying for Arsenal fans as they have missed out on a couple of their transfer targets with the obvious need to buy some player.
