PSG Star Called Angel Di Maria a Clown and is Reportedly Moving to Arsenal

Paris Saint Germain right-back Serge Aurier could be the next man to bolster Arsenal’s attacking line, after reports have emerged that the Gunners are set to ignite their interest in the player.

Aurier, who is currently serving an indefinite suspension for recent misconduct (homophobic slurs), has a major doubt about his career with the French giants.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, the Ivory Coast international is unlikely to lay for PSG again after upsetting owner Nasser Al-Khelafi.

Aurier is on punishment by the club after insulting boss Laurent Blanc and calling team mate Angel Di Maria a ‘clown’.

Arsenal are long term admirers of the Ivorian defender and has shown interest in signing him before he moved to PSG.

Although Arsene Wenger’s priority is to find a striker who can compete with Olivier Giroud, Aurier is still an ideal candidate to boost the Gunners’ full-back artillery.

The right-back position at Arsenal is currently comfortable with Hector Bellerin, who has emerged favorite this season by using his pace and agility to link up with Arsenal’s forwards and still manage to cover the right side.
Matheiu Debuchy, who is also a right-back for the Gunners, is also set to return from loan spell in the summer.
