Eden Hazard

Real Madrid Star Keen to Join Chelsea this Summer and to Replace Eden Hazard

Real Madrid midfielder Tony Kroos might be on his way out from Santiago Bernabeu in the summer. The latest reports from Spain claim that the German international is tempted by the interests of Premier League clubs Man City and Chelsea in his services.

Spanish publication AS claims that future Man City manager Pep Guardiola has asked City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain to sign the 26-year old in the summer.

Guardiola sees Kroos as a perfect replacement of Yaya Toure, who is expected to depart from City in summer.

Another Spanish publication Calciomercato claims that Chelsea are also interested in the player. The West London club wants to sign Kroos in case they sold Eden Hazard in the summer.

The report further claims that the Blues will shift their attention to Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan if they fail to sign the Real Madrid man. However, it’s unlikely that Real Madrid president Fiorentino Perez will be willing to sell one his star players.

Kroos arrived at Real Madrid in a 25-million-euro deal in the summer of 2014, and he has established himself as one of the integral members of the squad.
He has made 75 appearances for Los Blancos since his move.
