Real Madrid want sensational swap deal, both clubs to reach agreement this week

La Liga giants Real Madrid have expressed their interest in a sensational swap deal with Premier League champions Chelsea. Spanish publication Don Balon reports that Los Blancos are ready to offer James Rodriguez to Chelsea in exchange of Belgian star Eden Hazard.

Recent reports have claimed that the Blues are interested in the Colombian international. This situation presents a unique opportunity to Madrid to prise away Hazard from the London club.

Things have not gone well for Hazard this season, as he has failed to replicate his form of last season which helped the Blues clinch the Premier League title.

The Belgian playmaker scored 14 goals for Chelsea last season, but he is yet to open his goalscoring account after appearing in 14 league games this season.
