Report: Manchester United preparing lucrative bid for Raphael Varane

Manchester United is set to have a very tight schedule in the summer going after new signings aimed at boosting the Red Devil’s current squad in preparation for the 2016/2017 English Premier League season.

The current Manchester United defence has at times this season been exposed as wanting and lacking the quality a team in a serious title challenge ought to have. Some critics have argued that goal keeper David De Gea’s fine form has helped prevent Manchester United from suffering serious defeats in times when the Red Devil’s defence has fallen apart.

Raphael Varane has therefore not been able to create a rhythm or playing rapport with any of the Real Madrid defenders and the Frenchman is growing frustrated by day hence the possibility of a move out of the Bernabeu.

Manchester United is hoping to benefit from Raphael Varane’s unsettled state at Real Madrid by tabling a 25 million pounds bid for the Los Blancos centre back.
Raphael Varane would be a good signing given the fact that even in the current season where regular playtime has not been guaranteed for Varane, he is still being rated as one of the best centre backs for Real Madrid.

Raphael Varane’s ability to hunt the ball down, make that crucial interception, block or make a clearance has been instrumental for Real Madrid’s title fight and would be a good addition for Manchester United should Raphael Varane’s move materialize after the 2016 Euros.
