Revealed: Paul Pogba stunned Chelsea with €11 million a year wage demand

Pogba is the name on Chelsea’s lips. The sensational young player is constantly linked with a move away as top European giants battle it out for the French man’s signature.

Chelsea feel the appointment of Antonio Conte will give them an edge in the race. Conte worked with Pogba during his time with Juventus. He helped groom Pogba up, and now he believes he can bring him to Stamford Bridge to reap the rewards. However, the deal is more complicated when large sums of money are involved. It seems the reunion will have to wait.

Reports in Italy suggest that Pogba is in no hurry to bid farewell to Juventus. The French man is looking to play for a ‘historical club such as Real Madrid or Barcelona should he ever leave Turin.  Pogba had previously stated that he want a move to Barcelona and that he is willing go wait on them.

I guess he is still waiting as Barcelona have distanced themselves. Pogba does not favour a move to the nouveau rich clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain- who have all been linked with the star man. It is understandable, not many clubs can afford to take Pogba on.

Pogba is a player that won’t come cheap. Juventus have increased their value for Pogba since last summer from the €90 million Chelsea had initially bided. Turin side has placed a staggering €100 million. If that was not enough money, the French man is believed to want a salary worth a towering £170,000 weekly wage and around €11 million a year.

Baring in mind that Pogba currently earns €4.5 million, although it is the third highest  in Serie A it is expected to be over double that should he move elsewhere. Hence Chelsea plugging put of a deal last summer. However, it is believed that Pogba and his agent are not looking to downgrade on the hefty fee. It seems that both Juventus and Paul Pogba are in for the win. If you want to put a bet on his next match, use Matchbook.

However, should Chelsea purchase him they to will receive their share of the win.  Pogba has a versatile game.  He is capable in both defence and attack both to a high calibre may I add. He is instrumental in possession as the Serie A statistics prove- Pogba currently has the most assists (12) than any other Serie A player.
He is able to pick out a delicious pass and his passes vary all done to a high quality. He has balance on the ball which allows him to dribble and pass almost at ease. Not only that, Pogba is a powerful midfielder which enables him to dominate midfield.

He appears to be the perfect fit for the Premier league but will he fit into Chelsea’s budget?
