Revealed: Unexpected Twist in Gareth Bale Transfer to Old Trafford

Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has decided to turn down a move to Man Utd, because of the current turmoil at the club, according to a report.

The Independent claims that Gareth Bale seriously considered a move to Old Trafford after the Red Devils made a £100m bid for him last summer, but he has now changed his mind because of the current state of the club.

United currently sit outside of the top four and there is uncertainty about the managerial position at the club.

Louis Van Gaal is expected to stay at the helm of the club until the end of the season, but the discontent among the fans is at an all-time high and majority of supporters want him gone from the club.

There are further doubts about who will take over the managerial duties if the club decides to part ways with Van Gaal in the summer.

United are expected to place a third bid for the Welshman in the summer.
