Robert Lewandowski to Liverpool for £70m? Jurgen Klopp to Bring Former Protégé

Liverpool has been linked to Bayern Munich’s star, Robert Lewandowski. The striker has 29 goals in 30 appearances this season, and is reported to have a price tag of £70 million.

Lewandowski is Real Madrid’s target but Merseyside has been rumoured to be preparing a bid for the Poland international.

The 27-year-old is wanted by Real Madrid and Bayern’s president Franz Beckenbauer has confirmed the possibility. According to Daily Mail, Beckenbauer told DPA, “Robert Lewandowski has been mentioned as a possible candidate for Real Madrid.”

According to Daily Telegraph, Jürgen Klopp can convince the Reds to make an official bid to compete Real Madrid and sign Lewandowski, but nothing is in concrete yet.
