Shocking Statement from Man Utd Key Midfielder Ahead of Chelsea Clash: “I Want to Leave”

Manchester United player, Ander Herrera has admitted that he would like to play for Boca Juniors in the future. He admitted that the opportunity to play in Argentina is an option he would like to exploit.

The Spaniard joined United in 2014 from Athletic Bilbao, and has also expressed his desire to return to Real Zaragoza, which is his first professional club. He wants to play for them before retiring.

His father, Pedro Maria, is the technical director at Zaragoza and Herrera can attain a chance to return to Zaragoza if he wishes to in the future.

According Marca, Herrera is keen on playing for Boca Juniors. He said, ‘Yes, I love Boca. Since childhood, when my father brought players from there.

‘If one day I get the chance to play in South America, I’d love to go to Boca, the biggest. But it is an idea, eh?’

The 26-year-old also stated that he is committed to United and this is just what he wishes for the future. For now, he isn’t going anywhere and United can breathe a sigh of relief.

‘I’m focused on my team.’

He also spoke about his chances on returning to Spain for Zaragoza: ‘I see myself playing there again, but not when physically worn.

‘I will return to contribute, not drag back.’

Manchester United are currently 5th in the Premier League and will travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea tomorrow for their upcoming fixture. They are five points behind fourth place Arsenal who slipped from second place after failing to win against Southampton earlier in the week.
